Frequently Asked QUestions

Q: WHAT TIME SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY PICK UP?

We pick up from Walmart early morning. Orders should be scheduled between 7 am and 1 pm for pick up.

Please note...Walmart pickup times sometimes fill up fast due to storms, or any other unforeseen circumstances. If you do not see a time available prior to 1pm, which is our last time slot we will pick up for that day, we will still allow orders to be selected after 1pm all the way up until Walmart’s last pickup slot of 8pm. Just be aware than any orders placed after the 1pm slot will be picked up and delivered next day. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get ahold of us and we will be happy to assist.

Q: CAN I PAY CASH?

Due to our heavy volume, our service is limited to a delivery fee payment to our Venmo account (paid to Grocerydelivery31) through credit/debit card, which is a $25 fee

Q: CAN I TIP MY DRIVER?

Absolutely!  Our drivers work on a small wage plus gratuity. Tipping is appreciated for our drivers.

Q: WHAT IF WALMART DOESN'T OFFER OUR ITEM THROUGH WALMART GROCERY PICK UP?

Items that are not listed on the search engine for the Walmart pick-up site are unavailable for delivery. If you have a special request for us, please do not hesitate to email us at contact@snowshoedelivery.com and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Q: What information do you need from me via email after I order my groceries online and pay your $25

As soon as you send us your delivery fee via Venmo, please email us using the form provied or at contact@snowshoedelivery.com with the following info:

• Full name on credit/debit card used to place your grocery order at Walmart
• Order number provided by Walmart as well as your pick-up time
• Address/location where you would like your items delivered to. Please include any information required for delivery such as apartment number, etc
• A phone number should we need to contact you
• Any specific request

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum order?

Walmart restricts the minimum order amount to $30, Snowshoe Delivery Service does not have the ability to adjust this amount.  Our delivery costs are $25 shipping fee per your $125 Walmart order. Each slot of cargo room for our drivers fit $125.  This allows us to  maximize our deliveries with as many slots filled as possible per run.

Fee Breakdown: $0-125 = $25, $126-250 = $50,  $251-375 = $75, etc.

Q: How do you handle returns?

It is the customers responsibility to make any returns to Walmart.

Q: Can you pick up perscriptions?

As long as Walmart allows the purchase and pick up, Snowshoe Delivery Service will deliver these items.

Q: Can you deliver beer, wine, or liquor?

West Virginia state law prevents alcohol delivery unless you are licensed through the state, at this time we are unable to deliver these items.

Q: Can orders be left with out anyone present?

Yes, but keep in mind that the order has been paidfor and that Snowshoe delivery service is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Q: Is weather a factor?

As with any business that involves distribution, weather is always a concern. Snowshoe Delivery Service works hard to provide the best service available with out endangering our drivers.

Q: How do you handle perishable items, such as frozen or cold kept meats?

In short, we don't. The minute we pick up your items we are on our way to deliver. With our business delivery operating throughout the winter seasons, temperatures range from below zero to roughly 45 degrees. You can rest assured that all items will be fine when received.
